Staffing

We provide trained, qualified and experienced LPN’s, RN’s and CNA’s to staff assisted living facilities and long term care facilities. Our nurses will work under the direct supervision of the nurse manager. They are responsible for the total care of patients including;

  • Supervision of licensed practical nurses and nursing assistants
  • Develop care plans
  • Initiation of treatments plans
  • Administration of medications
  • Wound care and dressing changes
  • Collecting specimens
  • Receiving new orders and following through with them
  • Consult with doctors and other healthcare professionals involved in the care of the patient (OT, PT, social worker)
  • Assess and monitor the condition of patients throughout the shift
  • Document patient findings in charting system

Companionship

Neleddy provides companion services to senior or physically and mentally disabled individuals who need non-medical help with some aspects of their daily lives. We also provide company to decrease loneliness and isolation. The responsibilities of our companions include:

  • Socialization
  • Running errands such as grocery shopping
  • Meal preparation and washing of dishes
  • Assist with light housekeeping
  • Assist with laundry
  • Outdoor walks
  • Assist with arranging transportation and scheduling appointments
  • Escort members to non-medical appointment and social events

Home Makers

We provide homemakers to make life easier and safer for our patients and to take away the stress of managing household chores. Our homemakers will ensure all household tasks required to create a safe, clean and welcoming environment in your house are taken care of. Our homemakers will assist with meal preparation, housekeeping, shopping, laundry, washing dishes, making the bed and changing bed linens, and provide transportation to social activities while maintaining the safety of the patient.

Respite Care

Here at Neleddy, we believe caring for an elderly, sick or disabled loved one is a very demanding job that no one is capable of doing all by themselves. Neleddy provides respite care as a temporary relief for primary caregivers who need to take a break, travel, or take care of other important tasks while having the peace of mind that their loved one is not without care. Our respite services can be set up for a few hours, a couple of days, or even weeks. This service is beneficial to caregivers in easing the burden of caregiving and will help decrease stress, restore energy, and create balance in your life.

PCA’s & CNA’s

We provide caring and compassionate PCA’s to offer the best quality of care to our patients in the comfort of their homes. Neleddy PCA staff are individuals who are dedicated and have made a commitment to uphold the values of the company. Our PCA staff are caring, kind, loving and passionate about caring for our patients and maintaining their dignity. Our PCA’s have been trained to assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, transfers, and dressing. Our staff also assist with IADLS such as meal preparation, laundry, housekeeping, shopping, and transportation to medical appointments.

Home Health Aides

Neleddy HHA’s will be made available to clients who are looking to bridge the gap between dependent and independent living. We offer support to the elderly, clients in need of medical care and close monitoring in-between doctor’s visits, and individuals with disabilities who also require assistance with Activities of Daily Living. Our HHA’s have been trained to oversee the healthcare needs of our clients and ensure patients abide by the care plan, nursing and doctors’ orders. Some of the responsibilities of our HHA’s include:

  • Administering patient’s medications and picking up prescriptions from the pharmacy
  • Taking vital signs and documenting them
  • Preparing meals for the patient
  • Accompanying the patient to their medical appointments, shopping, and running errands for them
  • Assisting the patient with range of motion exercises
  • Providing assistance with ADL’s such as bathing, grooming, personal hygiene, transfers, ambulation and dressing
  • Assisting patients with light housekeeping and laundry
  • Replacing minor wound dressings and monitoring wound healing

1:1 Nursing Care

We have nursing staff made up of LPN’s and RN’s that are available to care for patients one-on-one in the convenience of their homes full-time, part-time, and on a long or short-term basis. The patient population can be elderly, critically ill, hospice, disabled, or patients recovering from surgery, injury or accident. Our in-home nursing care service is designed for patients who are well enough to be discharged home, but still in need of nursing care to improve quality of life and prevent hospital readmission. Our 1:1 nurses are responsible for:

  • Perform a thorough head to toe assessment of the patient
  • Assess patients’ needs and develop a care plan for the patient
  • Monitor and evaluate patient’s response to medications and treatments
  • Assist patients with ambulation, transfers, toileting, etc
  • Administer medications
  • Take vital signs and provide wound care and dressing changes
  • Work with the patient’s family and other healthcare professionals to manage homecare
  • Replace page tube canes
  • Catheter care etc
